Tarot-Scope is a drumming virtual reality (VR) project. The demo was showcased on the last day of Visual Arena's Narrative XR Lab.
The act of drumming is used as a way of engaging the physical body in the experience, as well as a means to reach a higher state. This VR experience is about connecting with our younger self to forgive and move on from the mistakes that we, as the player have made.

History has an important role in the experience. As a team, we combined the origin of VR and ancient spiritual practices into a metaphysical journey of drumming.
As the player, you meet a guide that helps you with the journey ahead. During the player's journey, several customized tarot cards are presented by "The Guide". Designs on the tarot cards are predecessor devices that have been used related to virtual reality. The tarot cards shown to the player are determined by how well the player performs the drumming to connect with their younger self.
